The Sun is Yellow Because It Is Close

Experiment

I wrote down a list of nearby stars, and then observed each one by the naked eye to see what colour it was.

Results

My results were that all the stars looked pretty close to white, except for one of them, the Sun.

Conclusion

The Sun looks yellower than all the other stars, and we also know that it is closer. So it must be that being close to Earth makes a star look more yellow. Or there must be something in interstellar space that filters out yellowness from light (coming from the other stars) to make it look white.
